What sandwich panels consist of
Currently, manufacturers provide three-layer wall panels, which include the following layers:
- External cladding. Made of rigid material (usually aluminum, stainless steel or other metals).
- Insulation. The central element. There are wall panels made of polystyrene foam, mineral wool and others.
- Another layer of cladding.
Some types of blocks have additional layers, for example, the surface is covered with a polymer layer to provide a suitable color for the walls.
Different materials can act as a core. There are wall panels with polyisocyanurate foam, mineral wool and polystyrene foam. Facing sheets are also made of different materials, the most popular is galvanized steel.
