How does the height of the room have a choice of design

For the internal organization of space, the floor height is very important. The height of the dwelling depends on the general proportions of the room.

According to medieval canons – the height should be average between the length and width of the room. It should be at least 2.5 meters. In private houses more than 2.8 meters.

Low ceilings contribute to the creation of an intimate environment, a high ceiling formalizes the total space of the room. Therefore, it is customary to arrange alcoves or cover in the bedroom, and in the offices a ceiling is welcome with a height of more than 3 meters. In large rooms are arranged "second light" T. e. take the 2nd floor height. Based on the solution of the interior, the ceiling can be flat, compliant, concave or stepped. For the premises where the creative process takes place, a dome -shaped ceiling is suitable.
