Varieties of domestic brick for construction
One of the most popular, publicly available and convenient in the use of building materials is brick.
There is no one common classification of this building material, however, some types of bricks can be distinguished depending on its purpose, application and appearance. So, most often bricks are divided according to the materials of their manufacture into ceramic and silicate .
Silicatical bricks are of various colors, even such unusual for brickwork as blue, green, purple. For this, special color pigments are added to the almost finished mixture. Ceramic brick is more popular. It is divided into brick facing and brick construction. These two types are very similar in their manufacture, but differ significantly in their intended purpose and quality.
