Modular construction: description of installation technology and advantages

The technology is based on the use of ready-made block modules (or block containers) in the construction of buildings.

Individual modular blocks are manufactured at the production site and consist of the following elements:

  • steel frame;
  • wall and roof sandwich panels;
  • interior partitions;
  • window and door fillings.

The design of the module is carried out in accordance with the purpose, functionality, operating conditions.

At the construction site, buildings are assembled from individual modules:

  • canteens, medical centers;
  • dormitories, hostels;
  • administrative buildings;
  • medical centers, warehouses.

Block modules are often used to equip shift camps or construction towns.

Modular buildings comply with sanitary requirements and fire safety standards. Due to excellent thermal insulation, they can be used in any climatic regions.

Finished buildings have a built-in heating and ventilation system, electrical equipment and plumbing.

It is allowed to install individual block modules on leveled areas without constructing a foundation.

Prefabricated structures can be completed or rebuilt, re-planned or transported to a new location.
